1980 Adam Derek Scott is born in Adelaide, Australia. In 2004 he became the youngest winner of the Players Championship at 23 years, 8 months and 12 days. A winner on the Sunshine, Asian, Australasian, European and PGA Tours, he twice finished second in major championships, first at the 2011 Masters and then at the 2012 Open Championship, where he squandered a four shot lead with four holes to play, finishing with four straight bogeys to lose by a shot to Ernie Els. But in 2013 he claimed his first major at The Masters, triumphing with a birdie at the second hole of a playoff with Angel Cabrera, after storming through the field with a final round 69, including a birdie at the 18th, and became the first Australian to wear the Green Jacket.
