1978 Frenchman Philippe Porquier takes 20 on the 511 yard 13th at La Baule in the second round of his national Open, the highest score for a single hole ever recorded on the European Tour. Already unlikely to make the cut after a first round of 82, the 20 included several shanks causing lost balls and contributed to a second round of 98.
