1956 Beth Daniel is born is Charleston, South Carolina. Winner of 33 LPGA titles and one major championship, Daniel was inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame in 2000, and her victory in the 2003 BMO Financial Group Canadian Women's Open made her the oldest winner in LPGA history at 46 years, 8 months and 29 days. She captained the US Solheim Cup team that defeated Europe 16-12 in 2009.
