Looking for new places to play?
Hop over the Channel and play golf for half price with

Each £5.00 TWO FOR ONE FRANCE voucher entitles two people to play for the price of one at any participating golf course in France.

TWO FOR ONE FRANCE vouchers are exclusively available from Golf Today, and are organised and promoted by Golf Today in exactly the same way as the regular 2-FORE!-1 vouchers for the UK.

You can use these vouchers for France at any time up to their expiry date of 31st December 2016, so take advantage of your next holiday in rance to play some new courses!

Courses that accept TWO FOR ONE FRANCE vouchers are currently to be found in the central Limousin region of France and the spectacular Jura in Eastern France, on the Swiss border, but we will be expanding the range of courses to include venues all over the country in the coming months, so that golfers travelling in France will always be able to find a half price course to play.

Each voucher costs just £5.00, and with green fees in France being generally somewhat higher than in the UK, you can be saving money right from the start!

Terms & Conditions

These are the simple steps you need to follow when using your vouchers.

Participating courses are clearly marked with - TWO FOR ONE FRANCE - on the regional (département) listings, as well as on the course pages, just below the 'Visitors' information.

1. Telephone your chosen golf club in advance to arrange your tee times, and be sure to declare your intention to use a TWO FOR ONE FRANCE voucher. Tee times are subject to availability.

2. Read any requirements and restrictions carefully for the golf club you intend to visit. Certain clubs may require a handicap certificate or impose other requirements such as Soft Spikes only. These are listed in the course directory, though it's also wise to double check exactly what the club requires when booking.

3. The special TWO FOR ONE FRANCE rate only applies in the season and on the days and times specified by the club. When you make the telephone booking, the course will confirm any restrictions.

4. Normally each participating course in France will have appointed at least one person who speaks and writes adequate English to be able to respond to you, but in case of difficulties, please contact Golf Today with details of your requested tee time and we will speak to the club on your behalf and pass their reply back to you. If you do ask us to make arrangements, please note that a tee time should not be considered booked until we have replied to you with the club's confirmation.

5. TWO FOR ONE FRANCE vouchers are for casual play only and are not valid for substitute or part payment for society/corporate bookings of more than 8 golfers. Any exceptions to this rule are at the complete discretion of the golf club and require the express agreement of the Golf Manager at the time of booking.

6. A current TWO FOR ONE FRANCE voucher, completed with the personal contact details of the voucher holder and guest, must be presented along with the balance of the two for one green fee. Both golfers must tee-off together based on the standard, adult, visitor green fee rates. Two vouchers must be presented for golfers to play in a fourball, and so on up to a maximum of 8 golfers.

7. TWO FOR ONE FRANCE voucher applicants must be aged 18 or over. It is at the discretion of each participating course whether or not they permit any junior green fee rate to be applied to the TWO FOR ONE FRANCE terms and can be checked at the time of booking.

8. Please observe the dress code of each club you intend to visit. Failure to do so may result in you being refused access to the course and/or the clubhouse.

9. Certain participating clubs reserve the right to restrict the number of times in any 12 month period that a voucher holder may avail of the two for one offer. It is essential to check after the first round whether or not a club imposes such restrictions.

10. TWO FOR ONE FRANCE vouchers may not be used in conjunction with club competitions such as Open Days or any other short-term promotional offers. The two for one green fee offer does not apply to visitors' rates when playing with a member of a participating club.

11. Occasionally a new or temporary member of the pro shop staff may be unaware of the TWO FOR ONE FRANCE arrangement. In the unlikely event of this arising you should ask to consult the golf manager for clarification.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I find out which golf courses participate in this scheme?
Look for the - TWO FOR ONE FRANCE - flags within our course directory on the course pages or the regional index pages. You can also click on the following links for a list of participating golf courses in France.

Is there a membership fee to join TWO FOR ONE FRANCE?
No. You can simply purchase however many vouchers you want at any time.

Can we just turn up at a course with our vouchers and play?
No. You must telephone or email the course in advance and book a tee time, specifying that you will be using TWO FOR ONE FRANCE vouchers. Normally each participating course will have appointed at least one person who speaks and writes adequate English to be able to respond to you, but in case of difficulties, please contact Golf Today with details of your requested tee time and we will speak to the club on your behalf and pass their reply back to you. If you do ask us to make arrangements, please note that a tee time should not be considered booked until we have replied to you with the club's confirmation.

Do the vouchers expire?
Yes. However, the time that the vouchers are valid is very generous, and the current vouchers do not expire until 31st December 2016. No refunds, exchanges or replacements can be made for vouchers not used after their final validity date.

Are the vouchers transferable?
Yes. Whilst each voucher is numbered they are not assigned to any one person. So for example, you may wish to club together with your playing partners to order more vouchers to take advantage of special offers or to save on postage costs.

How many of us can play together under the scheme?
Up to a maximum of 4 golfers with vouchers may play with their guests, so 8 people in all can play at any one time.

Do I need a handicap certificate to use the vouchers?
Some courses will require this, and may impose a handicap limit, while others are more open. You should check in our course directory, or when making the telephone booking.

My friend is a member at a participating club. Can I get the discount on a member's guest green fee?
No. The vouchers are not valid in conjunction with other promotional offers.

How much can I save with TWO FOR ONE FRANCE vouchers?
This varies very much according to the course you choose to play, the time of year and the time of day, but can be anywhere from a few pounds to the price of a very good lunch and a bottle of wine!

How quickly will I receive my vouchers if I order online?
We aim to process all orders within 48 hours of receipt and they are dispatched by Royal Mail with First Class postage.

How many vouchers can I order?
The minimum order is one voucher, and there is no maximum. However, please bear in mind that vouchers can only be used for casual play, not by societies, and that they do eventually expire.

How often can I play using TWO FOR ONE FRANCE?
There is no limit to the number of vouchers you can use in a 12 month period. However at some courses the number of times you can play using TWO FOR ONE FRANCE in any 12 month period may be restricted. Please check with the club when booking.
