Golf or "Gowf" (the old Scottish word for golf) has been played on these fields for over 400 years as the Gowf Field of  Loudoun was the private golf field of the Campbell family of Loudoun Castle.
Location Set in the Irvine Valley beside the A71 midway between Newmilns and Galston.
55 miles from Edinburgh, 20 miles from Glasgow, 15 miles from Prestwick Airport and 5 miles from Kilmarnock.
