Comment Set within the rolling Clwydian hills, this is a picturesque 9 hole woodland golf course. More challenging than the yardage may suggest - this is no 'pitch and putt'.

My husband and I played this course today. I took up golf 8mth ago 12 lessons later I can hit the ball but I'm slow. My husband has been playing for years. We both enjoyed this course. The longest holes were par 4 260yds. For a novice like me, this meant I could reach the greens in a respectably number of shots. There are plenty of challenges with dogged leg greens and lots of rough. My husband enjoyed the challenge of a shorter course, and the unforgiving greens if not read correctly. Very good value for money. Staff very welcoming. Will definitely visit again.

We play this course on weekends during the year and have been pleasantly surprised at how good the greens are looking and how the club house is really welcoming.
We have also been back in the evening and enjoyed a lovely meal, well presented and at a really affordable price with excellent service.
For those people who tried this course in the past and wasn't impressed, try it again, it's under new management and it is now a delight to play and at a very reasonable price.

A much improving course with fast sloping greens that really challenged us. Fairways well cut. We enjoyed playing Monday very much.
Saturday was not so pleasant. The course seemed full of parties of very mixed abilities who shouted to each other. This made it distracting and spoilt our golf. Monday was a totally different course with well behaved enthusiasts. Club house welcoming.

A quick message to let people know that Caerwys Golf Club is under new management and has been since the 1/9/10. We aim to offer an inviting and warm welcome to all, and since the particulary harsh winter months we have gone from strength to strength. To quote many of our members and visitors "the course has never looked so good". We are slowly but surely improving all of the facilities including the club house, so please phone or call in to have a go on our deceptive 9 hole course.

Played here for the first time recently after being recommended by a few golfing buddies.
Have to say the course was a delight to play, actually a lot more challenging than the average 9 hole course and the views were wonderful. After golf we were welcomed in the club house for a refreshing pint of much needed beer and might i add, one of the best 'bacon butties' i've had in a long time! Lovely afternoon had by all.

Spectacular views from golf course. In village of Caerwys. However, greens a bit rough with some pot holes. Very much a course for tourists and occasional golfers. Club house disappointingly tatty and catering poor.
