I have played this course on many occasions and have never felt disappointed with its presentation.
Fairways are extremely good no matter what the time of year and the weather, greens are some of the best in the area for a pay and play.
There is always a welcome in the club house, with a free coffee if you desire.
I would recommend this course to everyone.

I have played this course quite a lot since finding it some 12 months ago.
Has yet I have never been disappointed in the condition of this course, yes some times it has been WET but this course was still presented in the best condition possible, weldone to the ONE full time greenkeeper. The family members who help out when needed also need a pat on the back for the way they present this enjoyable test of golf.
This is a course that I have no problem in reccomending any golfer to try, as I feel sure they will not be disappointed.

Just played back nine for the first time and it is a very good test completely different from front nine which is hilly. It is like playing two different courses
Greens are very good, quick, with deceptive slopes
Exellent course in very good condition very good value for the cost

A slightly hilly front 9 is followed by a flat back 9 with water on both in the form of lakes. The course is well kept and is good value for money. However I witnessed the worst etiquette I have ever seen on a golf course in 25 years of playing, with golfers deliberately hitting through the pair in front and then having the same happen to me. May have been a one off, I don't know.

I really shouldn't be saying this as the club is my local one and any increase in people will mean more waiting - but this is one of the most beautifully kept pay and play courses you will find in the area. As it is family run the welcome is always warm and you can see the pride they take as you progress around the course. It is not the longest but as it is built on a hillside every shot may well prove a challenge. No one hole stands out as all are outstanding - the eigth is as cheeky as they get with water coming in to play to test your nerves. A real joy - but keep it to yourself !
