Steve Stricker maintains FootJoy's 2010 winning streak
February 8, 2010

FootJoy ambassador Steve Stricker has won the Northern Trust Open at Riviera Country Club in California, capturing the number two spot in the world ranking - no. 1 among active players - with his 4th victory in 15 starts on the PGA Tour.

The FootJoy FJ SYNR-G

Stricker's victory also marks a clean sweep for FootJoy, with five out of five on the PGA Tour in the 2010 season, following the wins of Geoff Ogilvy, Ryan Palmer, Bill Haas and Ben Crane, and underlining FJ’s leadership as the number one shoe and glove on all tours worldwide.

Stricker’s win also took him to the top spot of the FedEx Cup standings. The 42 year old's triumph capped a great week for FJ at the Northern Trust Open, with the top 3 all choosing FootJoy: Stricker wore the FJ SYNR-G (left), which utilises the exclusive G-Force Tri-Lateral Stability Frame and perforated alloy midfoot stability bridge to support tour-level swing speeds, while runner-up Luke Donald wore the all new FJ ICON, with big-hitting JB Holmes third wearing the FJ SYNR-G and the FJ RainGrip glove.

Stricker also took a firm grip on the tournament with the all new FootJoy Pure Touch glove.
