Forgan launches F150 & IWD2 irons
June 30, 2011

ForganForgan, one of Europe's leading value golf club brands, has launched its most forgiving and high-quality irons sets for 2011 with the new F150 and IWD2 models.

Designed to deliver outstanding power, accuracy and forgiveness - without costing a small fortune - these latest designs from Forgan are already being snapped up at an incredible rate.

And both sets can be custom fit, meaning golfers can possess a high quality set of irons designed to suit their own individual swing for under £150, achieved because of Forgan's unique factory-direct operation.

The Forgan F150s and IWD2s are both designed to give the golfer the maximum assistance golf club technology will allow and use military grade 431 stainless steel in their construction. Wide soles, impressive cavity backs, high MOI and clever perimeter weighting combine to create a huge sweetspot in each iron and deliver the maximum forgiveness, especially on off-centre strikes.

The new IWD2s (4-SW) are available in a modern, anti-glare dark grey finish and look superb, with in-filled white lettering on the sole and geometric graphics.

Golfers who prefer a more classic-looking stainless steel club will be drawn to the gorgeous and understated F150s (4-SW). Crafted to celebrate Forgan's 150 years of clubmaking expertise, these high-quality irons deliver everything the modern golfer expects in terms of forgiveness and power, while retaining a timeless design.

Because of its superb tensile and torque strength - and incredible toughness - 431 grade steel is used extensively in the marine and aircraft industries. It was chosen for the Forgan F150 and IWD2 irons to deliver strength and rust-free performance, as well as great feel.

The new Forgan F150s and IWD2s are available with a wide range of custom-fit options online at .

Golfers can choose from the stock premium Apollo steel shafts to a higher-grade Forgan SL Superlight 58gram or Dynamic Gold shaft, in four flexes, 10 different length settings, five lie angle choices and three grip options - including a matching green and black Golf Pride MCC grip.

All Forgan woods, irons, utility clubs, wedges and putters are available in custom fit options - with the golfer completing an easy website process to create their own perfect custom-fit profile before going on to order the clubs online.

The new Forgan F150s have an RRP of just £299.99 a set and can be bought online at a special price of just £129.99 with the standard shafts. The IWD2 irons have an RRP of just £299.99 and are available for the online price of £149.99 with standard shafts.

Matching 460cc drivers and fairway woods are available to co-ordinate with both sets of irons, with recession-busting prices from just £39.99.
