The new 'Tour Precision' TP Putters from Forgan
August 31, 2011

Forgan, the world's oldest golf club manufacturers, have introduced three superb TP ‘Tour Precision’ Putters, engineered with input from Forgan's Tour staff, including Major-winner Ian Woosnam and DJ Russell.

Golfers who enjoy the forgiveness and easy lining-up of a mallet will love the new Forgan TP-1 model (below left). The oversized, cut-out mallet head design is more forgiving on off-centre strikes, while the precision-engineered face gives a wonderfully true roll. An easy to use alignment aid helps make sure players are lined up correctly, while additional features include a quality double bend shaft and headcover.

The Forgan TP-2 model (above right) is special ‘enhanced blade’ design which combines the classic simplicity of a blade putter with the enhanced sweetspot of a larger mallet putter. The head shape feels like a regular blade, but with added muscle behind it and wide alignment markings, there’s much more forgiveness than with traditional Anser-style putters. A plumber's neck hosel and straight shaft complete the styling of this exceptional new putter, which will benefit golfers wanting more forgiveness from their flatstick without opting for an oversized mallet.

Forgan TP3The line-up is completed by the beautiful Forgan TP-3 (right). In every sense this is a putter purist’s dream, with an ageless, classic blade shape – although Forgan have introduced subtle modern styling to give it more a contemporary look.

All three premium quality putters boast the performance characteristics of other brands which are two or three times the price, once again underlining Forgan’s guiding principle of providing top-quality golf equipment at sensible prices.

Incredibly, each putter is priced just £29.99 – another sensational offering from Forgan, which is unique in offering high-quality golf equipment to golfers at factory-direct prices.

By cutting out wholesale-to-retail margins and the high marketing costs of Tour-player endorsement incurred by the major brands, Forgan is always able to maintain superior quality and low pricing.
