FootJoy woo the women with eight new styles for 2013

January 5, 2013

FootJoy is launching eight vibrant new styles in women's shoes for 2013 to suit a variety of tastes, including Women’s Contour, the LoPro Collection, the Women’s AQL, SoftJoys and the Summer Series. At the same time, the Women’s DryJoys, FJ Sport and LoPro Casual have all undergone styling and colourway enhancements for the New Year. The all-encompassing range is designed to meet the needs of every golfer, from the stability, traditional styling and tour-proven performance of the Women’s DryJoys, to the casual and fashionable LoPro Casual, designed to match up-to-date trends.

The flagship Women’s DryJoys range combines a perfect blend of traditional styling and tour-proven performance, offering additional midfoot support and motion control. Full grain leather uppers bring outstanding waterproof comfort, breathability, and durability and a PU Fit-bed with Dri-Lex cover provides soft and comfortable underfoot cushioning. There are two sleek styles; the white smooth waterproof leather and black diamond print with BOA closure system, and secondly the white smooth waterproof leather with beige lizard print.

Specifically engineered for the female player, FJ Sport for women features a full TPU outsole that delivers tremendous stability throughout the golf swing. Designed and developed for the player seeking crossover-inspired performance golf shoes, the 2013 range includes two brand new styles; the white smooth waterproof leather and white patent underlay with BOA closure system and the white smooth waterproof leather and fuschia patent underlay. Due to its success, the white smooth leather and silver sparkle patent underlay remains for 2013.

Showcasing four new styles for 2013 the Women’s Contour brings the ultimate in comfort and flexibility to a golf shoe. The slip last construction provides unparalleled support and flexibility, whilst the contoured lightweight PU Fit-Bed offers additional comfort and cushioning. The Contour is a guaranteed waterproof golf shoe with the latest performance fashion styling.

FJ’s LoPro Collection is the No. 1 selling women’s golf shoe category and FootJoy are offering a variety of fashion forward looks from hi-end tailoring fashion and contemporary colour splashes, to casual everyday looks. The collection now incorporates the spikeless LoPro casual for women seeking the versatility of fashionable footwear that can be worn on and off the course, boasting six different colourways, with extra lace options to suit various style needs.

The ever popular AQL range offers the golfer ultra-lightweight comfort with added stability for all year round play. AQL is a performance waterproof mid-range golf shoe that offers traditional, modern and youthful styling. Full grain leather uppers offer outstanding waterproof comfort, breathability and durability. The 2013 range has five brand new fashionable styles, designed to cater for a variety of tastes. Also with three brand new styles for 2013 the FJ SoftJoys are a leather, waterproof golf shoe offering comfort that has become synonymous with FJ golf shoes, housed in a traditional pattern.

To complete the 2013 Women’s shoe family, FootJoy has catered for seasonal golf with the FJ Boot suited for winter conditions and the FJ Summer Series Shoe. The new FJ Boot is capable of coping with all weather conditions, providing the waterproof protection in the severest of wet weather ground conditions. For the fairer on course conditions the lightweight mesh non-waterproof spikeless Summer Series category offers ultra-lightweight breathable comfort at great value.

“Without doubt, this is our most comprehensive range of Women’s footwear to date, with a variety of shoes to suit a wide range of tastes”, commented Russell Lawes, FootJoy’s European Marketing Manager. “To have three of the eight styles available as an exclusive MyJoys option provides more choice, variety and fashion styling which is increasingly important to the modern day female golfer”.
