The impressive winning form of Titleist Brand Ambassador Jimmy Walker continued this weekend, and he was joined in the winners’ circle by fellow Titleist Brand Ambassador George Coetzee who tasted success on the European Tour. Whilst Walker’s victory at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am marked the third time he has won on the 2013-14 PGA Tour schedule, Coetzee earned his maiden European Tour victory at the Joburg Open. Walker’s victory at Pebble Beach follows wins at the Open and SONY Open as he becomes only the fourth player in the last 20 years to win three times in his first eight starts of a season. There were further victories for Titleist golf ball loyalists on the Champions Tour and Australasian Tour respectively, as players putting their trust in Titleist continue to taste success around the world.

On the European Tour, George Coetzee trusted a host of Titleist equipment en route to a three-shot victory at Royal Johannesburg and Kensington GC, including the Pro V1x golf ball, 913D3 driver, CB and MB irons and new Vokey Design SM5 gap, sand and lob wedges. Coetzee fired four rounds in the 60’s including a final round 6-under par 66 to post a 19-under par winning total. Coetzee was joined at the top of the leaderboard by Titleist Brand Ambassador Jin Jeong (Pro V1) and Pro V1x loyalists Tyrell Hatton and Justin Walters as each of the top four, and seven of the top eight finishers relied on the performance and control of the legendary Titleist Pro V1 franchise for their success. Coetzee, Jeong and Walters also secure their place in the field for the 2014 Open Championship, with the Joburg Open now a part of the qualifying process. As well as being the choice of the champion, 145 players in the field of 210 put their trust in a Titleist golf ball, more than six times the nearest competitor with 23.

On the PGA Tour, Titleist Brand Ambassador Jimmy Walker continued the impressive run of success for players putting their trust in a Titleist golf ball on the PGA Tour, recording the eighth victory through the first twelve events of the season. Walker trusted Titleist from tee-to-green, including the Pro V1 golf ball, 913D2 driver, 913Fd fairway metals, MB irons, Vokey Design pitching, sand and lob wedges, and Scotty Cameron prototype putter. Walker finished on 11-under par at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, securing a one shot victory ahead of a top-10 (and ties) that included eight players putting their trust in the #1 Ball in Golf. Titleist golf balls were also the top choice of the field in California with 93 players, more than four times the nearest competitor with 21. Titleist was also the top choice of the field for wedges and putters respectively.

Elsewhere, on the Champions Tour Michael Allen (Pro V1x) won his sixth Champions Tour title at the Allianz Championship defeating Duffy Waldorf (Pro V1x) in an all-Titleist golf ball play-off. On the Australasian Tour, Titleist Brand Ambassador Gareth Paddison (Pro V1x) birdied the final hole of the Victorian PGA Championship to secure a one shot victory over Pro V1x loyalist Michael Hendry.

Wins for full line Titleist players on the PGA Tour and European Tour, coupled with further wins around the world continue to prove that the world’s best players put their trust in the superior performance, quality and consistency of Titleist to deliver their success.
