New lightweight waterproof bag range from Sun Mountain

February 1, 2015

Sun Mountain, market leader in premium golf bags, is introducing a spectacular new H2NO line for British and Irish golfers in 2015 following the launch of its most successful waterproof bags earlier this year.

Three stylish carry models and one feature-packed cart bag will enable golfers to cope with the worst of the British weather. All four bags, including a new H2NO Lite 14 Way model, are constructed from a proven lightweight nylon fabric with a 2000mm coating to protect golf clubs and accessories from the elements. Each bag also boasts matching rain hoods, waterproof YKK zippers and taped seams – features that have helped the brand win several awards since it first introduced a waterproof bag to the market seven years ago.

The brand new H2NO Lite 14 Way bag offers serious golfers a lightweight carry option with individual, full-length dividers to help organise and protect the complete set of clubs.

“We discovered by speaking to avid golfers that there was a big demand for a lightweight waterproof carry bag that had a 14-way top to help organise clubs,” said Sun Mountain Chief Designer Seth Enes. “At less than 2.5kg, the new H2NO Lite 14 Way fills that gap in our range and the introduction of new trend colours like citron makes the final product among the best we’ve ever produced.”

The H2NO Lite 14 Way also incorporates five pockets, including a velour-lined valuables compartment and a full-length clothing pocket. A newly-designed Auto-Fit® Dual Strap System allows for easier shoulder adjustment and maximum comfort when carrying. Golfers will also have the added bonus of fitting an H2NO Lite 14 Way securely to a trolley thanks to the cart-friendly base and new leg-lock system.

The H2NO Lite 14 Way (RRP £219) will be available in an exciting Black/Citron colour combination, as well as popular Black/Navy/Red, Black/White/Orange and Black colourways.

A new flared top design features across all four waterproof bags for 2015 and is designed to make it even easier to take clubs in and out of the golf bag.

The three other feature-packed models that make up the eye-catching Sun Mountain H2NO range for 2015 include the following:

H2NO Lite

Built on the success of the original H2NO bag, the H2NO Lite weighs in at less than 2.1kg and boasts:

- 9.5” oval, 4-way top with new flared top design;
- 5 pockets;
- Auto-Fit® Dual Strap System;
- Available in five colours: Black/Grey/Cobalt, Black/Citron, Black/Navy/Red, Black/White/Red and Black.

H2NO Ultra Lite

Weighing just 1.9kg, this offers the ideal option for avid-walking golfers looking for the ultimate lightweight and compact bag. It includes:

- 8.5”, 3-way top with new flared top design;
- 4 pockets;
- E-Z Fit® Dual Strap System;
- Cart-friendly base & full-length dividers;
- Available in four colours: Grey/Cobalt, Black/Citron, Black/White/Red and Gunmetal/Black/Red.

H2NO Lite cart

Designed predominantly for cart use, the H2NO Lite is still light enough to carry at less than 2.4kg and offers a number of practical features:

- 10”, 15-way top with new flared top design;
- 7 pockets – all forward facing and accessible while the bag is on a cart – including two clothing compartments, a valuables pouch and multiple accessory pockets;
