Callaway has injected a splash of bold colour into the new ladies line of X-Hot clubs for 2013 which all feature vibrant pink 'X' accents on the sole of the clubhead.

Spearheading the line is the new Callaway Golf X-Hot ladies driver. This 460cc club is right on the size and distance rules limits imposed by golf's governing bodies and has been designed so that every level of lady golfer, from the complete beginner through to the seasoned Callaway Golf ladies ambassador out on Tour (catered for with the X-Hot Pro version), will reap the rewards of using it.

The new X-Hot driver features two key technologies, Ultra-Thin Wall and Speed Frame Face Technology, which combine to help the typical lady golfer achieve a faster ball speed for longer drives. A clever adjustable OptiFit Hosel allows you to tailor both the look of how the club sits at address and also the shape and trajectory of your shots, with the ultimate outcome of hitting straighter drives.

The complementing X-Hot fairway woods have also been designed with ease-of-use as their first priority. A Forged Speed Frame Face Cup design ensures that the ball fires off all points of the face powerfully, even on those mishits. Callaway has taken the extremely successful classic Warbird Sole and given it a modern twist to ensure great performance from every lie imaginable. This combined with a heavy weight inside the head (they call Dynamic Weight Projection) lowers the club's centre of gravity to make sure those often difficult to get airborne fairway shots climb effortlessly into the air.

Completing the set are the new X-Hot irons with oversize clubheads that look impossible to miss. A deep undercut cavity is designed for higher ball speeds over a bigger part of the face. The Speed Frame Face technology, borrowed from the drivers, has been applied to the irons to give them explosive distance, while the feel and sound has been fine-tuned to ensure that pleasing crisp ball strike.

For ladies seeking even more adjustability from their equipment the Callaway Razr Fit Xtreme Driver, albeit the more expensive option, will certainly please. Better players, in particular, will enjoy being able to fine-tune the performance from their driver thanks to two movable OptiFit weights (13 grams and 1 gram) and a special OptiFit Hosel that allows you to adjust the face angle into open, square or closed positions to ensure you get the ball flight, shot shape, distance and accuracy you require. The benefits of using a Forged Composite Crown may not be new to these pages, but this even lighter version pushes the Razr Fit Xtreme to the limits of what can be achieved in terms of repositioned weight low and deep in the clubhead and therefore the forgiveness of the club. Add to that the same Speed Frame Face Technology that featured in the X-Hot driver and you have a club that fires the ball off the face fast and with unprecedented power.
