They say: Our superb modern bags are designed with our own unique anti-twist locking base that fits like a glove to a Golfstream trolley and secures the base more securely than any other brand. It is also cleverly designed to fit all other leading trolley brands. The key features of the bag are: 11 way full length club dividers, four clothing/accessories side pockets, a velvet lined valuable pocket, a large front shoe pocket, strong zips with zip tags, a tee holder, four grab handles for easy lifting, a 3-way carry strap, a Karabina for towel, velcro glove fastener, umbrella tags, an anti-twist base to fit most electric trolleys and a zipped rain hood.

I say: For those of you who have read my ladies blogs over the last few weeks you'll have noticed a theme to my product testing, I'm now six months pregnant and the bump is making lifting heavy golf equipment an impossibility. So I set myself the task this week of finding the lightest ladies golf bag on the market to see whether I could genuinely have a bag that I could fill with clubs and lift with ease and without straining my back or my bump. In my online search I came across Golfstream, a UK manufacturer of electric trolleys and accessories including golf bags.

The Ladies Lite bag that I am shown holding here really does feel feather light to pick up, as I'm demonstrating it can be lifting and held on the palm of your hand! What that means is that when you put your clubs in the weight doesn't become overbearing and it is far easier to lift in and out of your car and onto your trolley.

You'd expect that a bag as light as this would come with some compromises, I was expecting that the pockets would be small and there would be a lack of space and features. In fact the pockets were the same size as my old heavy bag and allowed me to fit everything I needed inside. I love all the different pockets for different uses like the handy valuables pocket to protect your watch if you take it off to play and the large front pocket is big enough (and designed) to fit your shoes. The only thing I don't like, if I'm honest is the massive Golfstream brand logo slapped on the side of the bag. Something more discreet would have looked far more fashionable.
