They say: Royal Albartross set out to create the most luxurious golf shoe ever made and achieves this goal through a marriage of classic and contemporary British design and leathers with Italian craftsmanship and American cleat technology. This unique combination creates shoes of international design status with out-of-the-world comfort and fit. There are six different style shoes in the women's range, all of which showcase Royal Albartross' impressive design touches and intricate detailing, such as high-shine eyelets and polished lace tips. The colour options range from white and black through to pink and glossy red. Every shoe is crafted using traditional hand tools and carefully preserved techniques, requiring more than 250 individual tasks, including stitching the leather, moulding and compressing the upper on to the last and attaching the cleated sole. The shoes' fan base features stylish golfers throughout the world, including a growing number of celebrities including Supermodel Jodi Kidd.

I say: Like most ladies I love shoes, yet I've never come across a pair of golf shoes that genuinely made me excited to open the box until now! The Royal Albartross shoe is like the Jimmy Choo of golf shoes, it simply oozes class and you get that wonderful smell of new leather when you open the box. Yes these shoes have an enormous price tag, but wait until you see them, you will understand why. The posh presentation box is a treat alone and inside is a beautifully handcrafted shiny shoe that looks fit for a Hollywood catwalk. As with all new leather shoes they'll fit snugly at first and need a bit of 'breaking in' but they come with a shoe horn so that you can slip your foot inside so it fits like a glove and the high quality Italian leather is wonderfully soft. I found the shoe a little heavier than the traditional modern golf shoe to walk in but very comfortable and it certainly turned heads. Just about everyone I played golf with wanted to know where I'd got such a unique shoe from. I love all the intricate details on the shoe such as the shiny ball marker that clips to the outside. Picking the style is also a lot of fun with names such as the Betsy Bellagio, Candy Rousso, Dolly Dumont, Lady Luck and Diamond Lottie! Overall you won't find a more sexy, stylish and comfortable golf shoe in the world. If I could put more extravagant present on my Christmas list this year these shoes would be it!
