A special Bushnell Premium Pack featuring a Tour V2 Laser Rangefinder, limited edition EMF Skinz, Bushnell Towel and Bushnell Pitch Fork with Ball Marker will be sold with part of the proceeds going to the foundation.

Working with the Maggie’s Cancer Care Centres, The Elizabeth Montgomerie Foundation aims to support the development of two Maggie’s Centres in Lanarkshire and Aberdeen as well as supporting other existing Centres in Oxford, Cheltenham and Newcastle. The first Centre to be developed by the Foundation will be based at the Monklands Hospital in Lanarkshire, serving a community that has some of the highest cancer rates in the UK. As with all Magie’s Centres, the building will be designed by one of the world’s leading architects and will provide amongst other services, a cancer support specialist for information and advice, one-to-one or group sessions with a clinical psychologist and practical advice from a benefits advisor. Like all other Maggie’s Centres, the kitchen table will be the focal point, where people will be encouraged to talk with staff and other people using the Centre over a cup of tea. The Aberdeen Centre will serve the whole of the North East of Scotland and will be based at the Foresthill site of the Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.

Colin Montgomerie said “I know from personal experience that cancer can cause isolation and despair to whole families. The Elizabeth Montgomerie Foundation aims to provide support for people affected by this disease. No one with cancer should have to suffer alone and by helping us with our campaign, we will be moving closer to this goal. I am so grateful to Bushnell for their generous donation and for supporting our aims. I look forward to a long and successful partnership.”

Olivier Ciaravino, Vice President and Managing Director Europe of Bushnell Outdoor Products said, “We are delighted to support actions that go beyond our partnership with Colin and wish everyone involved with The Elizabeth Montgomerie Foundation every success with their first and future projects.”
