New 'Lakeview' creates perfect picture at Birchwood Park Golf Centre

May 23, 2014

Birchwood Park Golf Centre has created a picturesque lake-view setting for couples preparing to tie the knot.

Opening of the Lakeview room, which can accommodate 120 guests at the public pay-and-play centre - holder of a civil ceremonies licence - is part of a spring-time revamp at the venue and coincides with new laws allowing civil marriages to take place in non-traditional settings.

A fresh look to the Café, Bar and Grill at Birchwood Park - part of BGL Golf, the UK's leading golf course owner and operator - is also perfectly tailored for couples seeking help and inspiration on hand from the venue's experienced wedding coordinators.

"A full redecoration, with chic leather-look seating, and stylish roman blinds have transformed the lounge and dining rooms and infused a bright and crisp feel," explained Melanie Drake, Birchwood Park Golf Centre General Manager.

"I look forward to welcoming wedding, golf and other private parties to our spruced-up events space."

Modernisation work began six weeks ago at the centre as part of an ongoing effort to improve the popular venue for private parties, corporate events and weddings.

Birchwood Park is a popular venue for a variety of events and occasions from weddings to corporate events and private dinners to cocktail parties. In addition to the Lakeview Room, guests may also book the Kelvedon Suite, which boasts panoramic views over the golf courses and wider Kent countryside.
