De Vere develops interactive partnership with Golf GameBook

De Vere Hotels & Resorts has formed a strategic partnership agreement with Golf GameBook, which will see The Belfry stage the finalé of the BMW Road to Gleneagles 2014. De Vere, the UK's leading golf resort and hotel brand, will welcome keen amateur golfers to the stunning Midlands resort for The Belfry Playoff on 14 th August 2014, where the top performer will win a pair of hospitality tickets to the 40 th Ryder Cup matches, courtesy of BMW.

The agreement aligns De Vere with one of the UK's fastest growing golfing communities in Golf GameBook, a free mobile scorecard which allows golfers to record scores, track progress over time and interact with friends who are also using the app, regardless of where they are in the world.

De Vere's enjoys a long-standing association with the Ryder Cup through The Belfry, which is the world's only four-time Ryder Cup venue, and the PGA, established through its impressive portfolio of resorts and heritage of hosting European Tour, European Senior Tour, EuroPro Tour and Ladies European Tour events.

The group will draw benefit from broader promotion around the event through Golf GameBook's direct marketing platforms, and its relationship with BMW and a high profile media partner.

To have a chance of qualification, golfers must download the Golf GameBook App, play a round with the app and score more than 30 points to be entered into a weekly prize-draw, which will run from now until the 8 th June.
