Network on the green at Luton Hoo Hotel, Golf & Spa

August 8, 2014

The well-known phrase 'where there is golf, there is business' makes the course the perfect networking environment, especially as a recent survey found that 54% of business professionals see golf as 'The Sport of Business' and 25% of business decision-makers play golf.

With this in mind, luxury five star hotel, Luton Hoo Hotel, Golf & Spa has teamed with Milton Keynes IT service company, Mirus IT, and local contractor accountants, Liberty Bishop, to host a fantastic open networking event on Thursday 14th August. The event will take place on Luton Hoo's beautiful 7,017 yard, championship golf course, which effortlessly meanders through 250 acres of breath-taking countryside offering stunning glimpses of the lakes and the magnificent mansion house.

Between 8.00am and 12.30pm, guests are invited to relax in Luton Hoo Hotel's stunning setting while taking advantage of this excellent opportunity to network with business professionals and establish those all-important relationships.

After the essential introduction and delicious bacon rolls, guests will receive expert course tips from the hotel's resident golf pro, Craig Ferris.  The 9 holes of golf will tee off at 9.30am, followed by the winners' announcements and prizes in Luton Hoo's clubhouse at 11.30am.

Luton Hoo Hotel's General Manager at Luton Hoo Hotel, Golf & Spa, Matthew Long, commented:

"Golf courses around the world see countless business deals take place as the game provides the perfect platform to introduce yourself and maybe even start future projects.  Our open networking event is a great way to bring local and national business minds together to discuss the industry and play a great round of golf on our impressive course."

The open networking event costs £10 per person. To book, or for more information regarding the day and the dress code, please visit www.lutonhoo.co.uk.
