Played on the Wednesday of Masters week every year since 1960, the Par 3 contest is fun and sociable and not too serious - only pride, and some elegant crystal, are at stake. But there's a catch. In 55 playings, many great names have won this contest, but no winner has ever gone on to claim the Green Jacket on the following Sunday afternoon...
