New crazy golf brand, BUNKERS! celebrated the opening of its first venue in Swansea in style, hosting a VIP launch event extravaganza in January.
The epic party night handed out some incredible prizes and gave guests the opportunity to put the Loco and Zoro 12-hole themed courses to the test, while enjoying Electro Darts, Ping Pong, a mix of retro cocktails, mouth-watering food and plenty of entertainment with music.
The venue was packed with more than 300 guests ‘bunkering down’, including a selection of notable VIPs from across the local community, to launch the exciting new brand with unlimited golf, a free drink and the chance at the main prize draw.
Louis Marsh, an Aerospace Engineering student at Swansea University took home the main prize, a £2,000 holiday, and was announced live at the venue and across BUNKERS! social media at midnight.
“The launch event was a fantastic way to kick off the year for BUNKERS!,” commented General Manager, Richard Byrne: “It was a great night and I’m sure the buzz and excitement created over the last few weeks will be the spark for a tremendous first year.
“We’ve been overwhelmed by the initial local support and have seen that BUNKERS! is already becoming a favourite destination for the community, which will only grow as word spreads.”
Featuring grown-up entertainment with extravagant theming and spectacular lighting, BUNKERS! is the perfect setting for some cheeky fun with friends with a great offering of cocktails, food and entertaining activities for a lively atmosphere.
Proprieters, Adventure Leisure Limited, have announced plans to establish several new BUNKERS! sites across the UK over the next few years including a Cardiff venue in the pipeline for later this year.
Located in Little Wind Street, Swansea, BUNKERS! caters for students and adults only from 8pm daily with an age limit of 18 in effect but families are more than welcome during the day.
