Location
The Club is situated just outside the village of Morfa Nefyn (B 4417), on the Private Road to Porth Dinllaen Village.
Course Designer
The Club was formed in 1907 and was converted from 9 holes to 18 holes in 1912 and after many minor transformations, a further 9 holes were added in 1933 (only 26 holes are now being played). In December 2014, The Point at Nefyn Golf Club was lashed by 100 mph winds and exceedingly high tides. The extreme weather had a devastating effect on this section of the course, to the extent that it had to be closed for the 2014 golfing season. The re-designed course at The Point has been described as "breathtaking", taking full advantage of the local terrain and topography.
