Greg Norman is no longer part of the golf team for Fox Sports, according to published reports.

Golfweek Magazine and Golf.com reported Sunday night that the two-time major champion is being replaced for next year. Fox Sports last year started a 12-year contract with the USGA that includes the U.S. Open, U.S. Women's Open and its other championships.

Norman did not immediately respond to a text from The Associated Press.

Golfweek cited network sources as saying that Norman and Fox split Friday and that an announcement was expected Monday.

Norman was in the booth with play-by-play announcer Joe Buck. The only golf events Fox Sports televised last year were the USGA championships and the Franklin-Templeton Shootout hosted by Norman.
