June 20-23
Hazeltine National Golf Club, Chaska, Minnesota
$3,850,000
Round 1, Round 3, Round 4

Hannah Green continued her fine form with a second-round 69 to hold a three-shot lead at the KPMG Women's PGA Championship in Minnesota.

The Australian carded a 68 in the first round and followed that with a 69 on day two to become the only player at Hazeltine National to shoot two rounds under 70.

The 22-year-old made one bogey, her first over 36 holes, but bounced back with four birdies to move to seven under for the tournament.

After day one, Green earned her first career lead at a major tournament and was pleased to sit at the top of the leaderboard for a second day running.

"Even when you play this type of golf at just a regular event you're pretty proud of yourself," she told the LPGA website.

"But this week especially, I've never put myself in this position in any event so to be doing it this week at such a great venue definitely shows things are going the right way. I have had some luck going my way. I do hope that continues."

Ariya Jutanugarn had two birdies and an eagle to close in on Green's lead but finished with a second successive 70 to move to four under overall.

The two-time major winner said the wind made it a tough day but she would remain patient going into the weekend.

"You need to be really patient. It was really windy today. I played really tough today. I feel so much better because I learned to be patient on this course," she told the Golf Channel.

Defending champion Sung Hyun Park sits in third place at three under alongside Lydia Ko, while Nelly Korda and Angel Yin are tied in fifth at two under.

It was a disappointing day for England's Mel Reid, who entered day two in a tie for second, but signed for a 76 to finish one over par for the tournament.

She is joined by Scotland's Gemma Dryburgh (70) among a group tied in 26th, while Georgia Hall finished in joint 36th on two over par.
