February 20-23
Grand Reserve Country Club, Rio Grande, Puerto Rico
$3,000,000
Round 1, Round 2, Round 3

Martin Laird suffered a nightmare final round to tumble out of contention at the Puerto Rico Open on Sunday.

The 37-year-old Scot began the day one shot behind Viktor Hovland at the top of the leaderboard after matching the course record with a 63 at Coco Beach Golf Course on Saturday.

But it all fell apart a day later as he began with a double-bogey of the par-four first hole.

Though he birdied the second, three more bogeys followed before he pulled a shot back on the 11th, and Laird dropped further shots on the 14th and 18th holes to sign for a 75 which dropped him into a share of sixth place overall.

Norwegian Hovland carded a 70 to stay on top, winning by one shot from American Josh Teater.
