More than 80 players have represented Team Europe in golf’s greatest team contest since 1979, but if you could make your dream selections, who would you pick for your Ultimate Ryder Cup Team? Now, thanks to Ryder Cup Europe and BMW, you can do just that.

Visit www.ultimaterydercupteam.com and pick 12 players, a captain and a venue, then share your Ultimate Ryder Cup Team with friends, family and fellow fans - and let the debate begin ahead of the main event at Le Golf National, Paris, on September 25-30, 2018.

Plus, if you share your team on social media using #UltimateRyderCupTeam Ryder Cup Europe will select fans at random over the coming months to share their teams on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter. You’ll also be joined by celebrities, ex-players and captains who will be selecting and sharing their Ultimate Ryder Cup Teams.

"It's an age-old debate that fans have, who would be on your Ultimate Ryder Cup Team?" said Jamie Kennedy, Content Director for Ryder Cup Europe. "Fans of all ages have so much passion and knowledge of The Ryder Cup, we thought this would be a fun way to capture that passion and create debate and social conversation amongst fans."

BMW are also giving fans the chance to be at Le Golf National with their Ryder Cup Team BMW competition. By taking part in online challenges you can compete to earn a spot on Team BMW and get invited to The Ryder Cup in September. "The Ultimate Ryder Cup Team is a cool way for fans to debate the best European players from The Ryder Cup and share their teams with family and friends" said Christian Masanz, Head of BMW Golfsport Marketing. "The Ryder Cup has so much fan appeal and we felt this activation would allow fans to engage with BMW and Ryder Cup Europe and pick their dream team. Along with The Ryder Cup Team BMW, which will bring twelve golf enthusiasts to The 2018 Ryder Cup, it allows us as a partner to be involved with the fans throughout the journey to Paris and on the tournament week itself. We're as excited as the supporters and can't wait to see all their Ultimate Team selections and contributions to qualify for Ryder Cup Team BMW."

The Ultimate Ryder Cup Team site is now live and will run through the end of August at www.ultimaterydercupteam.com
