East Lake GC, Atlanta, Georgia
Round 1, Round 2, Round 3

Dustin Johnson is the first No. 1 seed at the Tour Championship to win the FedEx Cup since Tiger Woods in 2009 after a final round 68 to finish at 21-under, three shots ahead of Xander Schauffele and Justin Thomas.

''It's a very tough trophy to win. 'I controlled my own destiny, but I still had to go out and play well. I had a lot of great players right behind me. It got close at the end. I knew it was going to come down the stretch and I'd have to hit some golf shots.''

Schauffele and Thomas got within two shots of him with two holes left to play but Johnson held on and produced his only birdie of the back nine on the final hole to win his third title since June.

This is his 23rd win as a professional and it comes with a $15 million payday. Johnson has now won more FedExCup playoff events than anyone else with six.

''Being a FedEx Cup champion is something that I really wanted to do. I wanted to hold that trophy at the end of the day. 'It was something that I wanted to accomplish during my career.''

Schauffele and Thomas tied for second place and a $4.5 million bonus.

No.2 seed Jon Rahm finished fourth and earned $3 million.
