The Legends Tour is again ready to welcome some of golf\u2019s biggest names at this year\u2019s JCB Championship as the tournament at the Staffordshire-based JCB Golf & Country Club returns from August 3-5, with discounted tickets now on\u00a0general sale<\/strong><\/span><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Enigmatic American John Daly \u2013 a famous winner of the PGA Championship at Crooked Stick Golf Club in 1991 after starting as ninth alternate \u2013 will again feature after entertaining the galleries in his usual manner last year.<\/p>\n

Daly, who also won the Open Championship in 1995, will head an all-star cast alongside four-time major champion Ernie Els, a 28-time winner on the DP World Tour with 19 victories also coming on the PGA Tour.<\/p>\n

Jim Furyk, the 2003 US Open winner and 2018 US Ryder Cup captain, will also play in the event, along with South African Retief Goosen and Colin Montgomerie, the latter a winner of a record eight DP World Tour Order of Merit titles.<\/p>\n

Darren Clarke will host the JCB Championship, while Alex Cejka defends his title at the West Midlands venue after he saw off the challenge of Paul McGinley by two shots in 2022.<\/p>\n
