18) Paul Azinger holes in one in 2000<\/h4>\n
This was a brilliant ace-inger from the 2008 Ryder Cup captain in round three.<\/p>\n
With the pin pretty central, Zing hits the perfect 9 iron, the ball landing 10 feet short and rolling straight into the middle.<\/p>\n
<\/iframe><\/p>\n<p> <\/p>\n<h4>17) Fred Couples holes in one in 1997<\/h4>\n<p>The final round flag position at 17 tests the nerve of even the best player performing right at the top of their game. Throw in gusty conditions and history tells us it is almost the best card wrecker in golf.<\/p>\n<p>Not so for Couples in 1997, who pitches the ball in the perfect Sunday spot, the ball meandering its way down and to the right after landing 20 feet left of the pin.<\/p>\n<p>The ball\u00a0rolls right into the centre of the cup with perfect pace and the ever-popular American laps up the adulation from those standing just a few yards behind him.<\/p>\n<p><iframe title=\"Top 10 all-time shots from the 17th hole at TPC Sawgrass\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/5CLkgXAK2XI?start=26&feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p> <\/p>\n<h4>16) Kevin Na and Tiger Woods putting out in 2019<\/h4>\n<p>One of the many criticisms of modern golf is the lack of characters and lighter moments. Those lucky enough to grow up watching Trevino, Wadkins, Zoeller, Seve, Couples, Daly et al were blessed in that golf was entertaining on more than one level.<\/p>\n<p>However Kevin Na is certainly not quite like other golfers and his penchant for reaching into the hole just moments after the ball drops in was wonderfully mimicked by Tiger Woods at Sawgrass. Unfortunately for Gump, the ball bounded through the green and into the water. Last year Shane Lowry spun one back into the hole, 31 years after unheralded American Brian Claar first managed it.<\/p>\n<p>The celebrations, however, are very different.
