Jesper Svensson signed for a 67 to reach 13-under par and take a one-shot lead into the final day of the FedEx Open de France.

The Swede had held a share of the lead since the first round but quickly moved into the outright lead with four birdies on the front nine before adding one more birdie and a single bogey at the par-4 17th.

“I hit the ball really well all day, a lot of good looks, hit a lot of good putts – it was a good day,” said Svensson.

“A lot of putts slid past, hopefully they’ll drop tomorrow.”

Svensson won the Porsche Singapore Classic in March and finished second at August’s D+D Real Czech Masters, his third runner-up finish of the season.

“Singapore was a great week and so far this has been a great week as well,” he said. “All you want is to have a chance tomorrow on 18.”
