Justin Lower made an 11-foot eagle at the par-5 18th to close with a bogey-free 63, tying his career-low round, and a share of the lead at 16-under at the World Wide Technology Championship.<\/p>\n
“I had a couple wayward shots kind of toward the end of the front nine but was able to get it back somehow,” said the American. “I putted really well. Something I’ve been working hard on, one of the strengths of my game, so was just trying to get that in line. They went in today. Hopefully they continue tomorrow.<\/p>\n
“The big thing about 18 is I think just getting it in play off the tee. If you can avoid both the bunkers, you’ll have a chance.<\/p>\n
“Then had a perfect yardage and a similar situation to a practice round I played earlier this week. Had 247 adjusted pin, 231 front edge, I think. Just a high cut 5-wood, hold it against the wind. I don’t know where it landed, but it ended up maybe 10, 11 feet from it. I luckily got a read on the putt from [Kevin] Streelman, so worked out.<\/p>\n
