Haotong Li started the day with a two-shot lead and opened with two back-to-back birdies before making three bogeys and three birdies as well as a final birdie at the 18th to win the Commercial Bank Qatar Masters by one shot at 16-under.<\/p>\n

This is the Chinese player’s fourth DP World Tour<\/a> title and the first since the 2022 BMW International Open<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“It means a lot. I never thought I could come back in this position,” said Li. “Even after yesterday, I felt like this morning was really stressed.<\/p>\n

“I’m just so pleased I made that putt on the last. I’m just very glad I closed out nicely.<\/p>\n

“I’m guaranteed to celebrate this one nicely. Definitely going to enjoy that.”<\/p>\n

<\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Denmark’s Rasmus Neergaard-Petersen battled with Li all day and had made seven birdies, including three in a row from the 3rd, before a bogey at the 17th and a final hole birdie for a 65.
