As the president of\u00a0the global leader of golf cars and one of the largest of small electrical vehicles, Mark Wagner has\u00a0full responsibility for the management, operations, strategy and performance of the Club Car business.<\/a>\u00a0He\u00a0has led\u00a0numerous product\u00a0introductions\u00a0like\u00a0Club Car Connect\u00a0with Shark\u00a0Experience in car entertainment and Visage course management tools,\u00a0the\u00a0LI-ION Lithium car,\u00a0the Tempo Walk (an autonomous caddie)\u00a0and Club Car\u2019s 502 golf turf and utility vehicle\u00a0that helps superintendents do their jobs better.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The Wagner Story --<\/strong>

I had been in sales and distribution leadership roles\u00a0for over 20 years with\u00a0Ingersoll Rand, our parent company,\u00a0before joining Club Car as President\u00a0in 2017.\u00a0 While working in sales offices across the northeast, a mentor once told me no matter the product complexity, or the technology it entails, or its advantage vs. competition our\u00a0success will always be tied to our people.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

He stressed to me that if our associates and channel partners are passionate about what they do and excited about\u00a0working for\u00a0our company,\u00a0they will\u00a0always\u00a0go the extra mile for our customers.\u00a0The best strategies or best products are critically important, but only if you have great people to make them a reality.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Years later, I have found that advice to be true. Across many industries and geographies,\u00a0I have\u00a0seen\u00a0amazing people working incredibly hard\u00a0behind every\u00a0business\u00a0success.\u00a0\u00a0My role is simply to help our people\u00a0succeed and\u00a0it\u2019s\u00a0less about top down decision making. Winning is contagious and when a business has momentum like Club Car has, the energy from our team almost fuels itself.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
