Sedgefield CC, Greensboro, North Carolina
$6,200,000
Round 1, Round 2, Round 3

JT Poston delivered his first career PGA Tour title in some style after he completed a bogey-free week to win the Wyndham Championship by one shot from Webb Simpson.

Poston, playing on home turf in North Carolina, became the first man to win an individual 72-hole PGA Tour event without a single bogey since Lee Trevino achieved the feat in New Orleans in 1974.

The 26-year-old saved his best round until last as he signed for a 62 to charge up the leaderboard on the final day, with an eagle on the par-five fifth helping him make the turn at five under.

Byeong Hun An had looked like being the man to challenge him, having also kept his card clean for the first three days.

Though he bogeyed the 15th, a birdie on the 16th mean the South Korean went to the 18th tee needing a birdie to force a play-off.

But his first shot found the rough to the left of the fairway and he three-putted to drop down to third place behind Simpson.

Poston began the day level with England's Paul Casey, but the latter slid out of contention with a final round of 69 that dropped him down into a tie for 13th place.
