Justin Timberlake has touched down in Scotland as he prepares to tee it up alongside Justin Rose in the team event at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship.

The ten-time Grammy award-winning musician will join actor Bill Murray, cricket legend Sir Ian Botham and Downton Abbey star Henry Talbot on the fairways of Carnoustie, Kingsbarns and the Old Course at St. Andrews.

Timberlake has made a recent habit of rubbing shoulders with golf’s biggest names, joining Rory McIlroy at the Omega European Masters pro-am in Switzerland last month.

JT has been putting in the work to ready himself for what will be a serious test this week, practising on Carnoustie’s Championship course on Monday.

The Alfred Dunhill Links consists of two separate events, as pro’s are paired with celebrities in the Team Championship whilst recording their own individual efforts in the latest European Tour iteration.  

The professional tournament will play host to several of the world’s best players, with Rose, Rory McIlroy and Jon Rahm representing the world’s top-ten ranked golfers.

Danny Willett, who produced a stunning display last week to win the BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth, will also be teeing it up this week.

Having tasted victory in the Team Championship here in 2016 alongside caddy Jonathan Smart, Willett’s game looks in great shape as he seeks to add the individual crown to his arsenal.

Fellow Englishmen Tommy Fleetwood and Tyrell Hatton are similarly poised for success this week.

Both finished runner-up to Lucas Bjerregaard last year, with Hatton recording back-to-back wins at the event in 2016 and 2017.

Open champion Shane Lowry and US Ryder Cup player Tony Finau also make up the field this week, adding to a truly star-studded line up.
