Dustin Johnson looks set to win the Tour Championship after a 6-under round of 64 catapulted him five shots clear at East Lake.
Johnson had a single bogey at 11 but recovered quickly and fired three birdies in his last seven holes to match the best score of the day. Crucially he hit all but three fairways after struggling in earlier rounds and was putting for birdies on all but three holes.
Johnson credits his lead to a post-round session with his swing coach Claude Harmon III on Saturday.

โI felt like I was swinging well. It was just a little bit off, then obviously just the setup was just a hair off. What was happening is I was just hitting the driver a little bit towards the toe, and obviously when you hit it off the toe, it does not like to cut. That was really all we did was just fix the setup a little bit.โ
Johnson knows it's not over yet however, he's had an impressive lead heading into the final day before, only to stumble at the end. He had a 6-shot lead in Shanghai three years ago and missed his opportunity. He also had a 5-shot lead at the Northern Trust two weeks ago and won by 11.
''He's showcased what he can do,'' said Xander Schauffele. ''If he does what he normally does, it's going to be almost impossible to catch him.''
Schauffele and Justin Thomas are tied in second place at 14-under.
''DJ is clearly playing well. It wasn't easy today,'' said Thomas. ''It's still East Lake. But anything can happen around this course. You can shoot 63 or 64 and you can shoot 73 or 74 very easily. I just need to hope that tomorrow is my 63 or 64.''
