The number two on the PGA Tour rankings in the United States will join compatriots Patrick Reed - the 2018 Masters champion - and World Number 11 Xander Schauffele in the field. World Number 18 Paul Casey of England will also return to Hamburg for the second-successive Porsche European Open at Green Eagle Golf Courses.

Kuchar, who last played in Germany at the 2007 Deutsche Bank Players’ Championship of Europe, is looking forward to returning to Europe in September.

“I’m excited about making my Porsche European Open debut,” said Kuchar. “I always enjoy coming over to Europe to play, and I have heard a lot of great things about this tournament.

The 41-year-old has enjoyed a strong start to the 2019 US PGA Tour season, winning the Sony Open in Hawaii and recording six further top ten finishes, including runner-up results at the WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play and RBC Heritage.

“I’ve had a great start to the season, so I’d like to carry that momentum through to the end of the year,” added Kuchar. “As golfers, travelling the world, experiencing different cultures is one of our job’s great privileges. I’m excited for my week in Hamburg.”

Tickets to see the quartet, playing alongside a host of former Ryder Cup players and European Tour winners, are available from €25 per day, with season tickets available for €100. To purchase tickets, click here.
