Lisbon-based sports and hospitality management platform, DETAILS, has taken over some of golf’s most famous real estate in Vilamoura, Portugal, with the vision of making it the number one sports and leisure destination in Europe.

It will oversee the assets within the Dom Pedro Hotels and Golf Collection, which have long been the favoured spot for visiting golfers in the region, including the renowned Vilamoura Old Course.

The move comes as part of a major multi-year development plan, which will see Vilamoura undergo a series of impressive upgrades, serving to further attract avid, sun-searching golfers to the Iberian Peninsula.

In addition to the Vilamoura Old Course, the Dom Pedro Hotels and Golf Collection comprises the prominent Dom Pedro Portobelo, Marina and Vilamoura hotels, as well as the Pinhal, Laguna, Millennium and Victoria golf courses, the latter of which hosted the European Tour’s Portugal Masters for fifteen years between 2007 and 2022.
