Team Europe will feature two LIV golfers in the side for the Ryder Cup at the end of the month.
Indeed, Jon Rahm and Tyrrell Hatton will be looking to shine at Bethpage Black after making the team.
The Spaniard was a captain’s pick by Luke Donald, while Hatton made the team automatically having gained enough points during the qualifying period.
Like Rahm, the Englishman made his debut in 2018 at Le Golf National and has featured in every edition since.
What is his record like at the biennial competition, however? We at Golf Today examine Hatton’s performances for Europe.
2018 Ryder Cup: Le Golf National
Hatton qualified automatically for the 2018 edition after winning the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship in 2016 and 2017, plus adding the Italian Open to his resume.
Paired with veteran Paul Casey in the Friday morning fourballs, the pair succumbed to Justin Thomas and Jordan Spieth.

Rested for the afternoon foursomes, Hatton and Casey were paired together again on Saturday morning. This time, they ran out convincing 3&2 winners over Dustin Johnson and Rikkie Fowler.
Hatton went on to lose his singles match against Patrick Reed, meaning he won a single point from three matches in 2018.
2021 Ryder Cup: Whistling Straits
By 2021, Hatton was an established player in his own right. He had added another three DPWT titles to his name, including the BMW PGA Championship. Furthermore, the Englishman had broken through on the PGA Tour, winning the Arnold Palmer Invitational in 2020.
His partnership with Rahm was forged on Friday afternoon as the duo claimed half a point against Bryson DeChambeau and Scottie Scheffler.
Saturday saw mixed fortunes. Hatton and Casey lost in the morning, before he claimed a point with Shane Lowry, defeating Tony Finau and Harris English.
Like 2018, Hatton lost his Sunday singles tie, this time to Justin Thomas, as Team USA ran out 19-9 victors.
Across his four matches, he claimed 1.5 points.
2023 Ryder Cup: Marco Simone Golf Club
After winning just 2.5 points across his first two Ryder Cups, 2023 was where Hatton emerged as one of the strongest members of the team.

Rahm and Hatton won both matches they contested as a team. They won 4&3 against Scheffler and Sam Burns on Friday, before claiming a vital point against Xander Schauffele and Patrick Cantlay on Saturday morning.
Sandwiched between these two games, Hatton claimed half a point alongside Victor Hovland in the fourballs on Friday afternoon.
On Sunday, Hatton finally claimed his first singles win, sending Brian Harman packing 3&2 to move Europe onto 14 points.
With 3.5 points from four matches, this was Hatton’s most successful Ryder Cup. Donald will be hoping for a repeat at Bethpage in a couple of weeks.
