Aphrodite Hills Resort has unveiled its 2026 summer programme, anchored by a new golf academy, competitive tournament calendar and an expanded sporting and dining offer across the 234-hectare property on Cyprus’s southwest coast.
The programme positions the five-star resort as a Mediterranean golf base where groups can split time between practice, competitive events, family sport and off-course entertainment, with most activity running from early July through late September.

Golf Programme and New Academy
The resort’s competitive golf calendar includes two Summer Open tournaments and the Srixon Open before the season’s main event, the Aphrodite Hills Team Cup, which returns to PGA National Cyprus from September 16 to 20. The Team Cup welcomes teams from across Europe and features men’s, seniors’ and ladies’ divisions competing in fourball betterball, greensomes and individual Stableford formats.
Strengthening the resort’s practice offering is a new academy equipped with TRACKMAN 4 launch monitor technology, PLATFORM TrueBreak putting surfaces, SAM PuttLab, SYNLawn TeeStrike+ teeline and swing video analysis. For golfers who want structured improvement alongside resort downtime, the academy combines coaching technology with access to the championship course.
Miguel Girbes, Director of Golf & Sports at Aphrodite Hills Resort, said: “We continue to invest in our facilities and experiences to ensure guests can enjoy the highest standards of sport, leisure and hospitality during their stay whether playing golf, tennis, padel or a range of other activities.”

Football Camps and Racket Club
The resort’s Masters Football Camps bring former Premier League and international players to Cyprus throughout the summer. Phil Babb, Emile Heskey and Louis Saha will each host week-long training sessions for children aged five to 16, running Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to midday on the resort’s 3G pitch.
The Racket Club reopened in May 2026 with five Plexicushion hard courts, four European red clay courts, three padel courts, a new shop, changing facilities and a healthy food bar. Tennis and padel camps run from the facility with professional coaching.

Dining and Entertainment
Off the course, the resort has expanded its culinary lineup. The renovated Nusan Restaurant offers an Asian fusion concept blending Japanese and Southeast Asian flavours with teppanyaki cooking. Amelia Lounge overlooks the main pool with a European hospitality focus, a new Italian restaurant opens its outdoor terrace this month, and Pithari Tavern in the Village Square continues to serve traditional Cypriot dishes with views of the Mediterranean.
The Village Square also shows major football matches live at Anoi Pub & Bar and Beer Garden Bar & Grill, while a Summer Music Festival runs every Friday and selected Wednesdays from July 3 to September 2. Admission is free, and it welcomes resort guests as well as visitors, with performances starting at 20:30.
Aphrodite Hills Resort sits near Paphos and Limassol and includes a 290-room hotel, an 18-hole championship golf course, spa facilities, horse riding and kids’ clubs.
