Galvin Green Unveils Second Instalment of The Lab Collection for Autumn 2026

Storm Blue leads the palette as the Swedish brand adds four new garments to its experimental franchise, including its stretchiest rain jacket to date and a membrane-free windproof layer.

Galvin Green has released the second instalment of THE LAB, its experimental golf apparel franchise, with four new garments built around a Storm Blue, Navy and White colour palette for autumn and winter 2026.

The range, announced on 20 August, comprises the ALONZO waterproof jacket, the LEANDRO windproof jacket, the DAFFY half-zip mid layer and the MARSHALL polo shirt. All four carry the angular graphics and precision-placed prints that distinguish THE LAB from the Swedish brand’s core seasonal lines, paired with the technical fabric platforms Galvin Green uses across its performance wear.

THE LAB launched earlier this year as a space for the brand to test ideas outside its conventional collections, and the second release pushes the visual identity further while keeping weather protection at the centre.

“THE LAB gives us the freedom to explore ideas that challenge traditional thinking around golf apparel, and this second instalment is a great example of that approach. We wanted to push the collection further visually while ensuring that performance remains at its core. The bold Storm Blue, Navy and White colour palette gives the garments a distinctive look, while the combination of advanced fabrics, contemporary construction and technical detailing helps to deliver impeccable performance whatever the conditions.”

Global Brand Director Sofia Ask Klason.

ALONZO rain jacket leads the outerwear

The ALONZO is a rain jacket built with Pertex® Shield Stretch three-layer fabric and a microporous membrane. Galvin Green says the construction delivers more stretch than any rain garment the brand has produced to date.

Zippers at the centre front and pockets repel water and, together with a drawstring collar, help keep rain out; a cross print across the sleeves gives the jacket the collection’s signature look. It comes in Storm Blue/Navy/White. The brand’s product listing for the ALONZO identifies a facing fabric of 100% recycled polyester with a polyurethane membrane, plus repositioned side seams and shaped sleeves designed to support the golf swing.

LEANDRO takes the membrane-free route

The LEANDRO, offered in Storm Blue/Navy, approaches weather protection differently. It uses INTERFACE-1™ fabric woven tightly enough to block wind without a membrane at all, which improves breathability while still providing water resistance in light showers. A back air vent adds further ventilation, and the sleeve carries the same cross print as the ALONZO.

According to Galvin Green’s listing, the jacket’s fabric is 100% recycled nylon and bluesign® approved, with a regular fit, elasticated cuffs and a drawstring hem.

The two jackets give the range a clear split: full waterproof protection for genuinely wet days, and a lighter, more breathable option for wind and passing showers.

DAFFY and MARSHALL extend the range beyond outerwear

Two new garments carry THE LAB’s design language into layering pieces. The DAFFY half-zip mid layer, available in Navy/Storm Blue, uses the brand’s INSULA™ fabric to provide warmth without bulk. A stand-up collar, V-shaped cut lines and graphic sleeve detailing keep the styling athletic.

Galvin Green Marshall

The MARSHALL polo completes the release, offered in Storm Blue/Navy/White and White/Navy/Storm Blue. Built with VENTIL8™ technical fabric, it features a button placket with contrast neck piping and sporty side panels for a lightweight, high-performance fit.

Where THE LAB sits in Galvin Green’s 2026 lineup

The release arrives less than a month after the brand’s Great Wide Open collection for 2026, which covered rainwear, insulated garments and breathable shirts for men and women across a much broader product grouping. THE LAB draws on the same named fabric families, including DRYVR™, INTERFACE-1™, INSULA™ and VENTIL8™, but presents them through a tighter, more experimental four-piece edit with a bolder aesthetic.

The sustainability approach carries over too. The ALONZO is made from recycled polyester and is free from intentionally added PFAS, while the LEANDRO’s recycled nylon carries bluesign® approval, continuing the material standards Galvin Green has applied across its recent ranges.

Galvin Green positions the collection as clothing for golfers who play through changing conditions, and the four-piece structure reflects that: a waterproof jacket, a windproof jacket, a mid layer and a polo cover the main needs of an autumn or winter round in northern Europe. For golfers who liked the concept behind THE LAB’s first release but wanted a stronger visual identity, the Storm Blue palette and cross-print detailing provide it.
