Peter Ellegard

Peter is an award-winning freelance writer and photographer specialising in travel and golf. He has also been playing golf for more than 40 years, including rounds at the longest course in the world (Jade Dragon Snow Mountain Golf Club in Yunnan, China, at 10,000 feet high), and at the lowest course in the world (Furnace Creek Golf Course in Death Valley, 214 feet below sea level). He has played many of the top golf courses around the world and teed off on every continent except Antarctica. He has been a journalist for five decades, is a member of the International Association of Golf Travel Writers working with global golf tourism organisation IAGTO.
