Davis Riley closed with a 70 to reach 14-under and win his first solo title at the Charles Schwab Challenge. Riley had previously won the Zurich Classic with Nick Hardy.
“It’s super special to get my second win and obviously being so close to where I live now here in Dallas-Fort Worth area, super special having countless number of friends and family and obviously winning at such a prestigious event like the Charles Schwab Challenge is truly an honor and I’m stoked.
“I’ve been kind of looking to try to get some momentum this year. It’s been a slower start to the year than I’ve been wanting and obviously this helps a lot, catapulting me in the right direction. Being in the field for the remaining two Signature Events will be huge and hopefully I’m looking forward to those as good opportunities to make a push towards the TOUR Championship and, yeah, I’m over the moon and excited for the rest of the season.”
Six-time PGA Tour winner Keegan Bradley shot a 67 for a share of second place at 9-under alongside World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler who recorded a 71, his first over-par final round since the 2023 Arnold Palmer Invitational.
Collin Morikawa finished in solo fourth place at 8-under after a final-round 68.
