South Korean Si Woo Kim closed his round with an eagle at the par-4 18th after holing out from 167 yards for an 8-under 62 and a share of the lead in the FedEx St. Jude Championship.
J.J. Spaun remained bogey-free for his share of the lead and both are already guaranteed to move on to next week’s BMW Championship.
“I think I putted really well and I drove it really well,” said the American. “I guess I hit 15 out of 18 greens, so that’s a pretty good combo. When you’re hitting a lot of greens and putting welland hitting fairways, it’s hard to complain about how I played today.

Sahith Theegala parred the final hole with a 30-foot putt to close with a 63 and lies in solo third place at 7-under.
Fellow Americans J.T. Poston and Tony Finau are tied in fourth place at 6-under with South Korea’s K.H. Lee and Austria’s Sepp Straka.
