Golf Centre in Strathmore underway with preparations for National UK PGA fourball championship finals

Do not miss the National UK PGA Fourball Finals at Strathmore Golf Centre, the biggest event in the club’s history!

It was earlier this year that those responsible for Strathmore Golf Centre learned that they had been selected to host the Summer Championship Finals Event, and they have been working hard on preparations ever since. This will be the club’s first time hosting a National PGA event, and excitement across the club workers, its golfers and within the local community is palpable. The championship finals event is due to take place from the 18th to the 21st of this month, so the club are counting down the days until what they have named, the ‘big week.’ Not only is this the first time the club has hosted an event of this sort, but it is also the biggest event to take place on their grounds in the whole of Strathmore Golf Centre’s history.

It isn’t just those involved with the club feeling this excitement. Many golfing fans, both local to Strathmore and across the UK on a wider basis, have been waiting for this event with bated breath. Amongst those watching live, either in person or by using a variety of live streaming services on their own devices with friends or at home, there will be countless sports bettors making the most of the best betting sites in the UK to wager on the success of specific golfers. On these sites, punters can not only make bets on golf favourites such as reigning champion Chris Flanagan, but they can also enjoy the massive bonuses and incentives the platforms offer to both new and seasoned bettors, including free bets and cash back.

The internet has completely changed the game when it comes to sports betting in general, and this can be seen no clearer than in golf. Gone are the days when betters had to use sports books to place their bets. Now, it can be done in seconds on various devices. On top of this, betters also have access to a wealth of information, including the history of the golfers due to take part, alongside what has been taking place at Strathmore’s golf centre itself.

The club will be holding a practice day on Monday, the 18th of August, and this event will kick off the proceedings. After that, a total of 144 club professionals from all across the United Kingdom will gather at Strathmore to compete. The event will see them going head-to-head over 54 strokes of play across the Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

On each day, a total of 18 holes will be played, and the talent expressed during the games is expected to be palpable. Everyone competing has already seen great success, having already come through seven regional finals to reach this event. In fact, the National UK PGA Fourball Championship Finals Event is one of the biggest, most glamorous and desirable for professional UK golfers, and with a prize of £35k, it isn’t difficult to see why.
