William Mouw carded a bogey-free, 9-under 61 on Sunday to reach 10-under and claim the ISCO Championship title by one shot.
“I’m thrilled to be a PGA Tour Champion. It was quite the long wait. We finished early. My caddie, Steve, and my wife were able to go to the range and kind of just do our own thing, joke around a little bit. But I was mentally ready for a playoff, and if it came to that, I was ready. But that wasn’t the case and I’m just blessed to be the winner.”
61 is the low finish by a winner on Tour since the 2023 RSM Classic (61/Ludvig Åberg). Nine birdies matches his most in a round (2025 American Express/R3) and set his new low 18-hole score.
His seven-stroke comeback is the largest final-round comeback on Tour since the 2023 Sentry (Jon Rahm/7 strokes). The American becomes the first player to earn his first PGA Tour win in a final-round comeback of seven or more strokes since Smylie Kaufman (7 strokes/2015 Shriners Children’s Open).
“I played very good golf this week,” Mouw added. “There was a lot of close calls and I knew that if everything clicked and I did the right things, I could go pretty low. I’m just thrilled that it happened.”
Mouw’s first Tour title came at the age of 24 in his twentieth start. He has reached the top-10 once before, at the 2025 Puerto Rico Open. He becomes the third rookie winner of the 2025 season (Karl Vilips/Puerto Rico Open, Aldrich Potgieter/Rocket Classic).
54-hole leader Paul Peterson of the USA made two bogeys and closed with a 69 to finish second at 9-under, his best finish on Tour and second top-10 in 20 starts (T10/2025 Sony Open in Hawaii).
Spain’s Manuel Elvira also made two bogeys and closed with a 66 for third place at 7-under and earned his best finish on the PGA Tour in three starts following his first made cut. His brother Nacho played at this week’s Genesis Scottish Open (MC).
Kentucky native Vince Whaley closed with a 70 for a share of fourth place at 6-under and recorded his best finish of the 2025 season (previous: T7/Corales Puntacana Championship) and second top-five at the ISCO Championship (5th/2022).
England’s David Skinns tied for fourth having made two birdies and two bogeys around the turn.
