Ewing, who had not finished in the top-10 this year, has now won three times in three straight years on the LPGA Tour.

She credits her success to the decision she made recently to shorten her putting stroke.

“The key for me is knowing it’s in there,” said the American. “The change I made a couple of weeks before Canada, this week I saw putts go in. And once I saw them go in, I had confidence.”

China’s Xiyu Lin carded a bogey-free 65 to finish in second place at 21-under.

“I did whatever I can do,” said Lin. “I had one of the best rounds I played all year. I came out second, which is a little said. But Ally played so well. Congrats to her.”

Mexico’s Maria Fassi carded a 71 to finish third at 16-under, her best finish on the LPGA Tour so far.

“Just very, very happy. I could say I fell short, you know, I could look at all the negatives, but I’m extremely proud of how we fought this week, how well we played,” said Fassi. “Being in contention is a place where I want to be a lot more, so it’s definitely a huge incentive. At the same time, just a huge pat on the back for all the work we been doing.”

South Korean Jeongeun Lee6 closed with a 70 to finish fourth at 14-under, one ahead of compatriot A Lim Kim (70) and Americans Marina Alex (67) and Andrea Lee (69).
