LIV Golf have announced a return to Hong Kong for the 2026 season. This will be the third time an event has been hosted there in the breakaway league.
More importantly, however, is the fact that the event will be elevated due to partnering with HSBC.
This makes HSBC LIV Golf Hong Kong the very first title-sponsored event in the history of LIV Golf.
The exclusive event sponsorship was agreed earlier this year and is part of the global multi-year partnership as HSBC became LIV Golf’s global banking partner.

Once again, Hong Kong Golf Club will play host to the event. In 2024, Abraham Ancer won the tournament, while Sergio Garcia claimed victory this year.
LIV Hong Kong will also be held at the same golf course in 2027. CEO Scott O’Neil waxed lyrical about the event, saying:
“Hong Kong welcomed LIV Golf with extraordinary enthusiasm from the very beginning, and we are proud to return to this special city and course to deliver another unforgettable experience and week for fans, players, and partners.”
The 2026 LIV Golf League season doesn’t begin until February, but the schedule is almost complete.
What does the 2026 LIV Golf League schedule look like?
There may be a few months left until the new LIV Golf season begins, but new events have been announced recently.
Like last year, Saudi Arabia and Australia open up the season, with events being held in Riyadh and Adelaide.
As mentioned, Hong Kong is now confirmed between March 6-8, while Singapore is next on the schedule a week later.
After that, South Africa gets ready to host a LIV Golf event for the first time and it marks the league’s first foray into the continent.

Mexico City is next, taking place in the middle of April, and this is followed by Virginia in May. Andalucía and Louisiana will take place in June and the UK in July.
Indianapolis will once again host the LIV Golf Individual Championship in 2026 after the success of the event in August this year.
Of course, this is only 11 events confirmed, meaning there are three more to be announced in the coming weeks.
