Sweden’s Alexander Björk, who won his only DP World Tour title in 2018, recovered from a double bogey and bogey on the front nine and closed birdie-eagle for a 69 to move to the top of the leaderboard.
“It would mean a lot. It’s always fun to win. It was a long time ago, so hopefully I can go out and do it tomorrow.”
Dane John Axelsen also carded a 69 for his share of the lead.

2017 champion Jordan Smith of England, Northern Irishland’s Tom McKibbin and Scotland’s David Law all carded 72s to join them at the top.
“I was just happy to play nicely on the back nine and make some putts, which I didn’t do on the front nine,” said Smith.
“We’ll go figure some things out and see what tomorrow brings.
“Everyone will say it (winning) would mean everything, but it would mean everything. It would be nice to win in front of my wife and it would be great to get that third win under my belt.”
